We are seeking enthusiastic and experienced Summer Program Counselors to join our team for the upcoming season. The successful candidates will have a background in early childhood education and preferably be studying to become teachers or have an educational trajectory. The hours for this position will be from June – August 2023 9-12 M-F or 9-2 M-F.
Responsibilities:
As a Summer Program Counselor, you will work with children between the ages of 2-5 in counselor teams of three. Your responsibilities will include organizing and leading group activities, games, and crafts. You will also be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of the children in your care.
Requirements:
Must be 18 years or older
Background in early childhood education
Preferably studying to become a teacher or in grad school with some sort of educational trajectory.
Experience in a camp or school environment is a plus
Ability to work in a team environment
