Introducing Our 2024 Patrons of Education – Sara & Michael Aingorn

We are thrilled to announce the Rabbi Arthur Schneier Park East Day School Patrons of Education Award recipients, Sara & Michael AingornJoin us on Wednesday, June 5 for our Annual Dinner as we honor Sara and Michael in support of our Synagogue and Jewish Education.

Sara and Michael Aingorn were first introduced to the Rabbi Arthur Schneier Park East Day School through the Sunday Shkola program.  Since that time, they have fallen in love with the school and truly believe the values exemplified through Park East Day School’s curriculum, education and environment are paramount to building a strong foundation and shaping the successful futures for each of their three children.

Sara holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from The College of Charleston, a Master of Arts in Physical Education and Teaching, from Teachers College at Columbia University and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.  She is passionate about dance, health, and wellness and previously worked as a physical therapist specializing in Dance Medicine providing treatment to the dancers of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater.  

Michael is a first generation American whose family immigrated to the New York area from the former Soviet Union.  Michael is passionate about Jewish life and Israel, working together with Sara and community leaders to enhance programming throughout the community.  Michael is currently a Managing Director at Crestline Investors, Inc. focusing on Opportunistic Strategies.  Michael serves on the Advisory Board for the Bronfman Center for Jewish Student Life at New York University and is President of the Board of Georgetown Plaza Owners Corp in Greenwich Village.  Michael has a Bachelor of Science, manga cum laude, from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University and a Masters of Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Sara and Michael look forward to helping their children Zachary (7), Eliana (5), and Amalia (3) continue to grow in their pursuit of knowledge and strengthen their Jewish Identity at Park East Day School.  They thank the teachers, faculty, and staff who work tirelessly to provide such a special environment
