For the month of November, the students of the Rabbi Arthur Schneier Park East Day School participated in a variety of activities and programs connected to the theme of gratitude.
The children wrote essays and created videos and art projects about what they’re grateful for, and demonstrated their appreciation for the Upper East Side Hatzolah during a visit.
Elementary school students read THOSE SHOES, a book by Maribeth Boelts highlighting the distinction between need and want, with Head of School Temima Feldman.
All students wrote thank-you postcards to members of their families.
The month concluded with a school-wide gratitude program and a video presentation by the eighth grade students.
