Grades 6-8 Trip to Delaware and Washington

Dear Parents of 6th, 7th, and 8th graders,

We are excited to announce that our sixth, seventh and eighth graders will be going to Winterthur, the home, Museum Garden and Library of Henry du Pont in Delaware, as well as Washington D.C. on Wednesday and Thursday, April 25 and 26.

Although the children have already visited Washington, they will be spending the 1st day in Delaware with dinner at Max’s Kosher Cafe and an evening activity at Sky Zone. The next day they will be visiting Ford’s Theater for a “One Destiny” presentation, visiting areas of Capitol Hill, the museum of American History, and time-permitting, the Museum of Natural History.

All meals will be provided. The cost for the trip will be $350 per student, which includes transportation in a modern air conditioned Coach bus with DVD monitors and lavatory, hotel accommodations, all admissions, and the services of Sheila Schwebel from Tourrific Travel as tour escort and guide. There will be four teacher chaperones on the trip as well as a full time security guard and additional security guards at night at the hotel.

We are hoping that all of our students will join us for this adventure. Registration and parent permission as well as payment are online only.

Please click here to complete registration no later than Wednesday, April 11.
